Realistically, we cannot shift our strategy or lift stay at home and #PhysicalDistancing orders until we have the ability to do rapid, point-of-care testing that is accessible for everyone who is planning on breaking physical distancing measures or going back to work.

All of which is to say, this isn't over, #PhysicalDistancing is incredibly important and is going to be with us for a while. We can't let up yet.

So when will we be able to move forward and go on with our lives?

Places like New York that have locked down and taken #PhysicalDistancing seriously have also flattened their curve, with a doubling time of new cases out 2 weeks as well. The difference is the lingering effect of the rapid rise in cases, with a doubling time of deaths at 8 days.

Seattle was hit hard early, and so has more time and experience with the potential catastrophe that could occur if they don't take #PhysicalDistancing seriously. They've flattened the curve even more, now out to a doubling time of new cases of 3 weeks.

COVID UPDATE:
For our West Coast Region - looking at the curves for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Portland, the doubling time of new cases is now out to 2 weeks.
