Candles illuminate a mural of Ruby Rose with the text “Remember her message” in the streets of Vacuo, which a mysterious individual wearing a red hoodie observes. They smile at it and say “A touching tribute, but it could use a little something extra” as they pull out a bottle of spray paint.

Pietro Polendina wanders the streets the following morning when a passerby remarks “Looks like someone vandalized that mural last night.” Another civilian replies “The nerve of some people! That girl just returned after being missing for weeks, and that’s the welcome she gets?” A third onlooker says “Say, isn’t that the robot girl from Mantle?” Pietro looks up at the mural in shock. Another onlooker asks “Why’d the vandal put her there?”. Pietro wipes tears out of his eyes, looks up, and smiles as he says “I have my suspicions.” The mural now shows Penny lifting Ruby, with the text “Remember their message”.
