April 20, 1995: Chicago's Michael Jordan slams home the lob pass from Jud Buechler.
Jordan had 17 PTS/8 REB/7 AST and Scottie Pippen had 20 PTS/9 AST in the Bulls' 120-105 win over the Pistons. Terry Mills scored 26 PTS (12-16 FG) and Grant Hill had 20 PTS/15 REB for Detroit.

Thought the Pistons could've leaned on LeVert a bit more last night. Only played four minutes.
April 20, 2003: Tracy McGrady of the Magic drives and dunks on the Pistons' Mehmet Okur during Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first round playoff series.
McGrady scored 43 PTS (15-28 FG) in Orlando's 99-94 win. Richard Hamilton had 28 PTS for Detroit.
The Orlando Magic “hit the Pistons first” and never let go in Game 1.
“They out-physical’d us.”
Now Detroit has to respond.
Holy shit the Pistons lost?
The Orlando Magic became the first team in the 2026 playoffs to earn a road victory, storming into Detroit and upsetting the Eastern Conference’s No. 1-seeded Pistons 112-101 in Game 1 🪄
Jalen Suggs to Pistons fans:
"F*CK OFF"
Game 2 on Wednesday.
#NBA
Pistons' last home playoff win: May 24, 2008 against the Celtics. They've dropped 11 in a row, and all eight at the LCA
Wanted nothing to do w the Celtics in the playoffs. Told my sons on Wednesday, Sixers could take down the Pistons in the 1st round. Instead Philly beats the Magic for the 7th seed.
Today: Sixers lose by 32 to the C’s. Magic upset the Pistons in Detroit.
Winning plays on repeat.
The Magic get a playoff win on the road against the 1st seeded Pistons. Franz Wagner sealed it with two finds to Wendell Carter to close the game.
Wagner in the 4th: 10p, 4a, 1r, and 1stl.

Theo Ratliff, Sam Cassell, Lindsey Hunter, James Posey, Antonio McDyess and PJ Brown played in the last Pistons home playoff win.
The Magic just beat a healthy Pistons team on the road by 11 a few days after losing to the Sixers by 12 without Embiid
The Magic have answered every Pistons challenge tonight. And almost all of the worries about Detroit have shown up today.
FINAL: #Magic 112, Pistons 101
Orlando, previously 0-8 on the road in the postseason under Jamahl Mosley, captures its first road win in that span and stuns the top-seeded Pistons at Detroit.
11 straight home playoff losses, extending the longest streak in NBA history. Time to grow up, Pistons.
putting trash in a waste bin
spent my post-work free time watching the Pistons
FINAL: Magic 112, Pistons 101. Their home winless streak at the LCA continues. Couldn't overcome a poor start or quiet night from Duren (8 pts, 7 rebs, 3-4 overall) on both ends.
Cunningham: 39 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists
Lot of conclusions being drawn off one game. Not that the Pistons don't have a lot to take away and learn from tonight, because they do. Haven't led once at home tonight.
I needed some joy after the pistons game so in an email to my community fund advisory committee I used the phrase “too many cooks” and then linked it to the YouTube version. I did remove the underline and changed the color so it wouldn’t be too obvious, but am still giggling. Mission accomplished.
Magical Opener: Can Orlando Repeat Game 1 Upset Over Pistons?

Empty possessions and no real appearance from Duren is killing the #Pistons
Orlando PLAYING BIG in Detroit in Game 1 on the road, fending off the Pistons, who keep challenging.
So the Pistons have one good player tonight, seems bad
I hope during this time out the Pistons coach tells the team that they're not supposed to let the other team score.
And that they should score more points also
If the Pistons were better on free throws this is such a different game.
Make your free throws!!
