I was checking out pelicans and seals with grandpa's 20x Wollensak mirror scope. The scope has the lens shade extended in the first image. The second picture shows the mirror in this #MirrorScope, and the reflection shows the foghorn building with the two foghorns at #PigeonPoint Lighthouse.

#PrisonerIsland is just a few hundred yards from #PigeonPoint Lighthouse. The white coloring is guano. Prisoner Ilsand is a very picturesque #birdshit rock.

Should you visit the #SanMateoCounty coastline, driving on #Highway1, you may want to stop at this old #kaboose for a light meal. Just 20 miles or 20 minutes by car south of #HMB is the #PigeonPoint #Lighthouse and it is a wonderful location, especially in the late afternoonuntil past sunset.

There is some progress being made at the #PigeonPoint #Lighthouse, CA. The tower had some kind of primer on it a week ago but has since been mostly painted bright white. Near the bottom, you can see exposed brickwork.

The scaffolding that has been obscuring the #PigeonPoint #Lighthouse for a long time has been removed. The restoration should be completed sometime in 2026. The third picture shows the two #foghorns that are facing west on the Fog Signal Building which is a short distance from the lighthouse.
