Another day and another step forward. Did the gold detailing with Retributor Armour, and then washed with Agrax Earthshade. I was hoping the wash would help to make them look less plastic, I think it worked!

I don’t think I need any more Vikings for #Pillage but as I found another box of them I decided I’d paint a few before the rest get stashed away at the back of the cupboard. I added a flaming brand to one as it’s a thing in the game and I certainly don’t have any other troops with one. #nerdlings

Making progress! Sprayed them, and actually put some colour on too. The base fell off one, no sign the poly-cement had ever been there, the paint refused to go into the chainmail links, and the Painting handle XL has no grips for 25mm bases!
