Green light for three new Birmingham railway station Authorisation has been granted by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) (the regulator) to open three stations on the Camp Hill Line in south Birmingham.

The peak adult return fare from Camp Hill stations to New Street is expected to be between £5.50 and £5.80. With a season ticket, this could be reduced to just £2.47 a day. Season tickets make sense if you travel more than three days a week. You don’t need a season ticket if you’ve got a West Midlands Combined Authority issued concessionary travel pass - you can travel for free after 9.30am.

Monthly Direct Debit - £115 (£3.83 per day). nNetwork Z1-5 (any bus or tram and trains zones 1-5): Day - £11 peak or £8.80 after 9.30am and weekends. Week - £42 (£6 per day). Monthly Direct Debit - £130 (£4.33 per day).
