It is a bad record A couple of weeks ago I argued convincingly that Dearg Doom by Horslips should be voted No 1 in Today FM’s 100 Greatest Irish Songs competition. It has ended up at 66.

Every song has a meaning and a reason I personally equate the resurgence of Zombie to a political statement in music that reflects the historical troubles up north to the conflict in the Russia Ukraine conflict in a modern capacity.
