We #Pizzatoe #Pt created a new #ANSIart piece from the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40k — featuring an infantry soldier of the Death Korps of Krieg. One of the Emperor’s mortal regiments, they embrace death and are known for their signature gas masks.

We’re thrilled to announce that #Pizzatoe #Pt is part of Lazarus’s latest artpack on 16colors: 16colo.rs/pack/laz20/ We contributed two #ANSIart scrolls inspired by Indiana Jones–style adventures, in collaboration with the amazing artists warpus and krl.
We at #Pizzatoe #Pt put a lot of effort into polishing this version — adding intricate details to the hair, clothes, and accessories. We also redesigned the background, placing the character deep inside a mysterious cave to spark an adventure. We love the dynamic energy this piece brings.
Since then, we at #Pizzatoe #Pt have been creating more #ANSIart portraits as part of our creative practice. One favorite is “The Crazy Artist” — a bold piece with striking blue and purple contrasts. The full collection appears at the end of the video. More portraits in progress — stay tuned!
In January 2025, we at #Pizzatoe #Pt created a series of #ANSIart to celebrate the Lunar New Year — featuring festive scenes like New Year prints and lion dancing. It’s fascinating to reimagine these iconic East Asian traditions through the lens of computational art.
At #Pizzatoe #Pt, we crafted a portrait in #ANSIart to honor the memory of a beautiful and kind soul.
Next up in #Pizzatoe #Pt: a refined version of our #ANSIart Horus. We spent more time refining the fur texture on the wolf pelt, especially around the shoulders. The blood-red eyes are now brighter and more intense, and we’ve added extra detail and highlights to the skull as well.
For this updated #ANSIart piece from the #Pizzatoe #Pt crew, we added a more dynamic bow pose, flowing hair, enhanced lighting, new gloves and arrows. So much detail packed into just 80 columns! Let us know what you think, or how you'd improve it!
Our latest #ANSIart piece features the iconic Tomb Raider, Lara Croft! The full moon in the background is a nod to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For this piece, we #Pizzatoe #Pt used a classic #ANSIart trick: black outlines to make Lara pop against the moonlit scene.
We #Pizzatoe #Pt made an experiment, mainly using characters to create #ANSIart scenes. Then, we tried to interpret the ANSI abbreviation as “Automated Neural System Interface,” “Advanced Navigation of Space and Interdimensions,” and so on. Looks silly, though, but interesting.
#Pt105 crazy purple: #Pizzatoe #Pt create #ANSIart in a black-white sketch style, with purple deliberately chosen as the accent color. Inspiration may come from walking on old streets on a Friday night, where the stone pavement reflects the neon signs of bars and restaurants.
