An unsuccessful fishing session but a successful plein air session. I got soooo much sand in my palette
The sun came out and made the water a stunning ultramarine shade
Then a cloud came and gave the water more or a green hue

In the past I've done #pleinairpril2025 and didn't really get to do any in April. But I've wanted to reconnect with traditional art so if not for the challenge, at least for myself (even if it's not April anymore)

Digital painting on Procreate of a crow or raven. I think those are in the corvid family. This one was scattered across the yard so it was a bit spooky. I wonder what creature of nature got this one.

Found what was left of this crow on a nature walk with my kids and figured it made a good reference for a #PleinAirpril2025 painting.
