Hey dear #podcasters using #Linux: what is your favorite Linux Podcast Software set-up? Especially the combination of #distribution and #DAW software. I tried to use #Reaper and #Ultrashall under #cachyOS and #PopOS, but had numerous problems and switched back to ultraschall under #windows.
We gave a former windows user the hint to install #PopOS, after he was infected with a backdoor.
Not even 12 hours later, after using #Linux for only a few hours (first time Linux user), he is already questening his straightness due to ricing.
What have I done?

Had #PopOS on my desktop. Did an update and completely borked my PC. Love it. Tried recovery and everything. Nothing. So now I have to install an OS from beginning and re-set up my plex server. Again.

Our #Linux native #indiedev studio is trying out #PopOS 24.04 LTS. #Ubuntu 25.10 serves our purpose for #Godot and creative apps like #Krita, but we like Pop!_OS for gaming and want to try it for #gamedev as well
Sadly #COSMIC doesn't support our drawing tablet so that machine is using #KDEPlasma
The annoying part about switching to dark mode: it actually takes a lot of config if you care about consistency. Every app has a different background shade and they can really clash 😅

Ever since updating to #CosmicDE I've had this issue where if I lock or put things in sleep...I can't use Firefox or Librewolf. Everything contained in/around the address bar and menus doesn't respond. Anyone else having that issue? Any solves?
