🌎🧪 We’re closing out #PointBlue60 by stepping into a bold new era: #ConnectedConservation. Our new strategic plan advances innovative #conservation solutions by embracing the deep ties between nature, human communities & science. The future is connected—& it starts now. 🔗 pointblue.org/connect
The 2010s were a decade rooted in the land. We partnered with TomKat Ranch (2010), welcomed STRAW (2011), & launched Working Lands. The 2010s sowed the seeds that became our Roots program. Together, we’re uniting communities & land stewards to build a more resilient future. #PointBlue60 🌾🌎🤝
🍷 Cheers to our friends at #hafnervineyard for their generous in-kind donation for our 60th anniversary event on 5/17! As the Exclusive White Wine Sponsors, they’re helping us toast to six decades of conservation impact. Grateful for our #SonomaCounty community! #cheerstoconservation #pointblue60
🌍📊🦉🧪From paper notebooks to the cloud—in the 2010s, Point Blue evolved into an #informatics powerhouse. In this decade, we founded the AKN (now the leading repository for scientific bird data in North America) & embraced cutting-edge tech to lead #conservation into the digital age. #PointBlue60

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Peanuts! #Peanuts is helping Point Blue to raise awareness about our mission to advance the conservation of birds, other wildlife, and ecosystems through science, partnerships, and outreach. 🦉🌎 #PointBlue60
🕺It’s time for another #PointBlue60 flashback! In the '80s, the Pacific Flyway Project took flight, and in 1989, Dave Shuford launched a 162-site shorebird survey that revolutionized #shorebirdconservation & laid the foundation for current projects like the PFSS, the MSP, & the IMWSS! 💙🦉🧪🌍
In 1966, our Palomarin Field Station opened in Point Reyes, making history as the first bird observatory west of the Mississippi. We’ve since led one of the nation's longest bird monitoring programs, trained 700+ scientists, and advanced conservation research. Here's to many more! 💙🐦 #PointBlue60
