Part of an Eevee's tail, now sanded down, with the seam line having disappeared in several areas.
First pass on sanding down the sprue goo on the Eevee. I'm definitely not going to complain about how effective it was on some areas, although a second pass of sprue goo is definitely going to be necessary.

While a few more bits dry on the little Eevee (and sprue goo to fully melt together), I decided to break out the Big Eevee kit, to do a relaxing, just have fun build...

A happy lil Eevee, looking to the camera happily while wagging it's tail
A trio of Eevees. First one is sitting, looking off into the distance dreamily, second one is happily looking to the camera while on all fours, and the third one is lying down, sleeping.
Here's the pose I'll probably be gluing the Eevee into. For regular builds this isn't necessary, but since I plan on removing all seams while maintaining the original colour of the plastic, it's necessary.
Second pic is the posed Eevee kit with the two Quick Eevee kits.

Further progress on the Eevee model! Most parts have been tacked together, and I'm waiting on the last few parts to fully dry and cure before testing what pose I want as his fixed pose, since I'm aiming to eliminate ~all~ visible seams on him.

It was my first time building any #plamo on a train/in public! It was really fun and both builds were super quick and easy. Didn't even need tweezers for the stickers.

My top fav amongst the Gen 9 Pokemon warmed up my tired heart and mind.

This is the worst #pokepla kit i have done. It's cheap, finicky, has 59 stickers when most pokepla have like 8, but for tiny kits. The yellow plastic used for the pikachu and jaws is cheap and flimsy, and like.... it took too long and I don't feel accomplished. Gonna avoid evolution sets from here.

Ho-oh and Lugia built!
These were pretty fun, though I was actually shocked by the amount of stickers for the Ho-oh. I kinda feel bad I made my sister build that one without knowing 😂
But Lugia was cool. I wish the stands were better, but it's fine in the end.

I bought #Beargguy to build with my sister last year and we never got around to it, but I think we're gonna try this weekend! Might try to paint him too!

I was surprised by how much #pokepla they had!
I'd like that Magikarp someday, especially since it's specifically a BIG kit almost 8 inches.
I think it usually goes for around $25 retail. It's definitely on the list!
