#politicsmidlands just had a discussion about closing libraries. This followed a bin strike feature. This city is broken.
Yesterday on BBC #PoliticsMidlands, we discussed the ongoing bin strikes and their impact on our communities.
I’m deeply concerned that the Section 14 enforcement has been lifted, risking piles of uncollected rubbish.
This cannot continue and must be urgently resolved!

@mp4stratford.bsky.social you are bang on that it's the super wealthy that will pick up more land from smaller effected farmers. The bill needs to have thresholds to penalise the super wealthy which could bring down land value and enable small farmers to buy farm land. #WeathTax

Nice to see you on #PoliticsMidlands today @mp4stratford.bsky.social 👍🏼 Great to have such an engaged MP. Thank you for all the hard work you are doing.
#politicsmidlands "They should run it like a business!" but I'm against unitary councils... Yet bringing powers under one organisation mean that unified policies and decisions can be made. Link housing with education and health, and... Just like a business would 🙄
