If we push for it! 80% of Alberta’s oil and gas sites aren’t worth producing. Properly closing down and restoring them is the best way to reduce emissions and restore biodiversity and water while increasing oil and gas employment. #PolluterPaid

War is war, even if just on paper. The EU didn’t rush to increase fossil fuel use with the war on Ukraine. Trump’s war on Canada will do what it should: accelerate our renewable & regenerative economy. Local food systems, renewables, electric transport & $300 billion 🧼 economy. #PolluterPaid

No, I will be voting for Mark Carney unless YOU call for the following as your government is failing Canadians by appeasing the fossil fuel industry. It is time to tell the truth.

No more fossil fuel development,
No more pipelines, no more refineries.
Address the wells and facilities that are mostly polluting at scale.
The industry needs to pool efforts by level of pollution/contamination AND environmental catastrophe risk.
Aka the oil sands and the Eastern Slopes.
The majors need to start this job and they know it. No more sales until all of the above is outlined for the public.
Meanwhile they are to deploy renewables on the sites with the lowest risk remediation sites that have access to the grid, already.

My message to the Chrystia Freeland team. The Feds need to stop appeasing the Oil Bros ASAFP. No ⏰ to waste, only planning.

New greenwashing rules dubbed β€˜green hushing’ at Alberta carbon capture conference The anti-greenwashing portion of the federal bill C-59 has clear implications for claims made by oil and gas companies about carbon capture, utilization and storage technology

Former Alberta Energy Minister and War Room owner has this right, at some point (πŸ™πŸ» be now) people MUST stop investing in the carbon capture and storage scam. #TheTimeIsNow #CCSscam
