Any remaining materials, to the value of £1,000, were assigned to the town of Pontefract, to fund repairs to its place of worship and the rebuilding of a house for a minister. Now, onto my top #ruins of the year! Popped to #Pontefract a few weeks ago and stumbled across the beautiful All Saints Church, a 1960s church snuggled in the ruins of a 14th/15th century church destroyed during the civil wars. Absolutely beautiful 😍
