What I found especially interesting is that the layout is controlled by a Bachmann EZ Command DCC controller. this was the first DCC controller I ever owned, but I have never seen one on an exhibition layout before. Far less one of this size.

The detail and realism is amazing, this was the first time it had been exhibited. That coal yard is wonderful. A lovely touch is the pub in the corner being refurbished. Also note that Hull is the only place in the UK with white telephone boxes.
