Party arrives at a county in the earth pony kingdom, with the promise of employment from the local countess. But they find the manor surrounded by batponies. Batponies who are very 'eh this is just my job, but look, if you start shit, we'll finish it about the whole thing, and really don't want us to ‘interrupt' their boss, who is in 'negotiations' with the house's 'former lady'. ... Now. My character. Both a servant and an agent for underhoofed schemes for another earthen noble family, has alarm bells on her head. This is a hostile takeover, and our employer is currently being assassinated. So the party systemically goes through the manor — Taking out the bats, only to stabilise them after, ensuring they'd live, because killing some squeakers who are just doing their jobs was bad. So they get to the corridor next to the 'meeting room' Guarded by another pair of bats. After some talk-no-jutsu, bat assures us that the lady of the house is in no danger, the servants are locked up in a barn with just some minor bruises, and that as long as we don't interrupt the meeting, there is no need for us to fight. So the party just. Sits the fuck down and waits. Sharing a beer with the still-conscious bats. ... And eventually the door to the meeting room opens. The Lady of the house comes out with a tired expression. Behind her, we peep a batpony just conked out in a bed, because the meeting room was a bedroom.
