If "The Trial Of A Time Lord" had been flat out bad, it would have been bearable. What's made the season so difficult to watch is how easy it is to imagine a version bereft of the BBC's bullshit, that would have been poor Six's best.

"Terror Of The Vervoids" is, frankly, awful in places. And I don't think Who is the place for unreliable narrators, unless the story is written superbly. And it's not.
