7th time at the #PortlandMarathon. Really enjoyed it although had to use my ultra bag of tricks. Right hip flexor felt hot and very sore around half way so I backed off for a few miles and it improved. Then an enjoyable push for the last 10k. This never gets old!

Ran my third marathon this morning. Felt pretty good for the first two hours, but couldn't keep it up...

After a 20 mile long run this past weekend and 735 miles run this year, I’m officially into taper. The Portland Marathon is October 5th. It’s come so fast but I’ll be ready. Training has gone well, I just need to remind myself I do this for fun… so have fun. You got this.
