Triple exposure of three different paintings. The first layer is the face, with the red eyes and blacked out mouth. This to me suggested forced silence which does seem appropriate for the current times. The next layer is the winters tree in the back. This hints at that song "Hanging Tree" which comes from film Hunger games. Finally, the peacock was the third painting. References the queer/trans individuals currently under attack in our country. Male birds are often the more brightly colored and perform dances to attract mates, with the massive display of the peacock's tale being one of the largest of these mating customs. The beauty that explodes from male birds truly appears to be the antithesis of the repressed human male today.
