I set up this Chameleon CHA BV vertical antenna for the 20 meters to see how it react in the wind. I had to make some modification to the original project to make the whip more rigid and not bend in the wind.

Enjoyable bit of amateur radio from Long Melford Country Park earlier. 27 contacts (some CQWW WPX contest, some POTA) on 40m. Mix of usdx+ V2 SDR radio and Yaesu FT857 to a 1/2 wave dipole.

Activated a new #POTA to mark #FridayThe13th. I used my #FT-891 at 50w with a mag mount whip and I made it all the way to the Netherlands!! Started off slow with no internet to spot me but once one person did, the rarely visited park got some big pileups. Good times.

Activation in VHF from the Castle. I love this radio so much.
