Screenshot: Evil is the power of G-d warped and twisted by humanity. We puzzle over evil’s relationship to God because we are evil’s relationship to G-d. And while we presume God, the nature of G-d can’t be any of our business or amenable to our understanding.
Today’s instalment. There are frames that relate my&our selves to Power and thus, evil. A common example is the frame of belonging, but there are others.

Existing. Experiencing. Ending. Divisions and boundaries. The personhood boundary as a relatable instance of the sundering that defines all.
Sundering And how power arises around ways of making meaning of divisions and their bounding. Also how plurality is an internalization of the boundary of personhood and how plurality can provide a rich, inner experience of the challenges of self-governance and community. Pretty sure I have shared that, but been thinking about possibly other things.
Where there is power there can be “magic” though I could explain it in somewhat less magical terms. Both magic and science. Just as most of our modern world would be magic to someone of 1,000 years ago.
