Issues discussed at #PrepCom3 are fundamental to ensuring the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity beyond national jurisdiction, including in the deep ocean, underscoring the importance of access to the best available scientific information and knowledge to inform and guide decisions.
The agenda today includes progressing discussions on the procedural and financial rules for the COP and its subsidiary bodies as well as rules and operational modalities. #PrepCom3
