A collage of ten original artworks in an Op Artβinfluenced style. Recurring motifs include concentric rainbow halos, black-and-white geometric grids, and dense parallel linework that creates visual vibration. Several pieces feature anthropomorphic figures: a horned, bestial creature crouching within rainbow rings; two simplified silhouetted humanoids β one white, one black β facing each other with thought clouds above their heads; and a small top-hatted figure mid-fall amid a colourful triangle mosaic. Other works depict an impossible Rubik's-cube tower, a warped black-and-white oval lattice, overlapping hatched rectangles on cream paper, and a diamond grid of circle motifs in rainbow and greyscale. The palette swings between bold CMYK rainbow saturation and stark monochrome ink.
Started to feel disingenuous not mentioning Bridget Riley's influence on a particular branch of my artwork which is rearing up recently (or alternatively I'd just been going through an exploratory process similar to hers).
