Wrapped in warm blankets and dressed in Magnus' clothes, Lestat clings as he's supported with a strong arm on his back and under his knees, his face hidden against Magnus shoulder. Magnus smiles with tired warmth, his curly hair in a bun but still disheveled, his curly greying beard against Lestat's hand on his shoulder. Magnus has seated himself comfortably on his bucket now, using it as a stool, and is delightedly laughing at the impatient young horse nudging his hand with her soft face. His velvet fur lined jacket, trimmed at the neck and cuff with fur, parts in the center to show his black tunic. His beard is just long enough to curl and his vampire fangs are visible as he laughs. There's a deep affection in his expression. Being with his sweet horses is one of the best things of his nightly routine.

They're singing together, both their lips shaped in the same fashion, as Lestat learns by seeing the motion and matching it with hearing his own voice in harmony. Magnus reaches upward with his hand, expressing with his full body. He's wearing an outfit from his birth century, the fourteen-hundreds, which is heavily pleated, the jacket has a collar and large puffed sleeves, the shirt has embroidery in a vertical pattern. They're both smiling and amused with each other. Magnus wears all black, modern clothes that have a good fit, pants and long sleeves. Nicolas wears a plain knit bathrobe and lounge pants, the string tied in a bow, and his thick shoulder length curly hair has a bun tied in the back. His violin hovers near his shoulder, in his left hand, because he's just paused from playing moments ago. His fangs are visible, but not Magnus fangs are not.

Magnus curly hair and beard thickly cover his shoulders and chest, the loose strands plentiful and wild. Lestat's wavy hair frames his face and slips over the velvet cloak the two figures share, as he holds his end to hide most of his lips and chin. His strong hand is clearly visible, and his lace cuff and sleeve, but everything else is covered by the cloak. The intensity of his expression softens because it's neutral, whereas Magnus expression, standing behind him, has a fierce heat, defiant and protective.

A golden sunset low on the horizon over a field of poppies, the nearest ones very detailed, with their red petals and wiry stalks and black seeds. Most of the sky is a grey blue dusk with dense bright stars. Magnus stands behind the nearest poppies, in a royal blue cloak and robe, both embroidered with the same red design only on the hems. His black curly hair covers over most of his chest, past his waist. A ceramic mask fits to his lower jaw that's a bold red, the nose and cheeks of the mask are stylized as a lion, and the open mouth has four prominent ivory fangs. His gaze is very intense. Lestat is next to Magnus, facing his body toward him but looking somewhat over his shoulder to the viewer. His head tilts back, his expression subtle, almost neutral. Lestat has one hand visible, clutching into Magnus hair. Magnus has one hand visible on the curve of Lestat's back, holding him closely. Lestat's green robes have a white hem, his cloak parting on the sides only, high up on the shoulder. Wavy golden curls touch all along the cloak hem at the shoulders, from his untethered hair.

In the bright oversaturated violet concert lights, Magnus loiters, his posture almost in motion as though he's turned around just then to the viewer. He's wearing 80s fashion, aviators rimmed with white pearls, a blue denim jacket, a black Iron Maiden tshirt of the trooper, and black jeans. His face is calm, somewhat amused and also somewhat dismissive. One hand is in his pocket and his other relaxed at his side. His hair is pulled up in a round bun almost half as wide the top of his head, he has so much curly hair, and even then, long curled strands escape to the front and sides and back of him. He's got neatly trimmed salt and pepper stubble on the lower half of his face.

Magnus and Lestat as described by the book, the Vampire Lestat. Magnus stands with his back and side facing the viewer, his gaze confidently turned with his face tilted over his holder. His silver streaked curls are as long as his waist and thick enough to cover all his back and still hang around the other side of his shoulders. He wears a new tailored velvet frock, breeches, and tall hunter's boots, the cuffs unfolded up over the knees. One thin, long fingered hand lifts his black cloak, spilling across the ground behind Lestat, in fact his whole ensemble is in black, except the flowered embroidery of forget me nots, roses, and violets. Standing close, almost right against him, Lestat's red velvet cloak, with wolf fur over the entire shoulders and down to the binding ties, sweeps open with his hand folded up to his waist, showing the entire inside of the cloak has the same thick fur. His body faces the viewer, his red frock covered in golden embroidery, pearls, and matching his loose lace hemmed breeches and his shining red shoes, with fashionable heels. He smiles sweetly, almost too innocently, his golden hair ending in thick curls around his jawline, on the fur. The background of the water-color is left simply white, with its paper texture prominent.

Lestat touches a soft, passionate kiss to the closed eyelid of Magnus, the one who's transformed him into a vampire. Lestat's skin from his lips down his curved neck to his collarbone's covered in blood, streaks and speckles, it flows gently through his golden hair. His expression's adoring and tender. Magnus' expression subtly smiles with joy, blood covering his chin and neck, lips parted. His fangs are visible. His black curls cling together thickly, pulled by their weight down below Lestat, and a cold stone grey darkens the background.
I kissed his eyelids. I gathered his soft black hair in my hands.
