A gray rock formation looks like a face peering upwards. A nose chin and eyebrows can be imagined, perhaps with an extra rock as a mustache. The rock face is so steep that few trees and bushes can hold to the surface. Near right an evergreen tree branches help frame the rock. Along with a gentler slope of mountain covered in green vegetation. A deciduous tree frames the profile in the left of the picture. A deciduous tree juts up from the nose while two evergreens reach upward from the forehead.

Picture from 2024, the trail is currently closed due to Hurricane Helene damage. (Evidently a section of trees has been flattened by wind over the trail is the hearsay).
