another #project500 practice sheet, this time it's simple to complex shapes practice with shading and perspective
11 / 500 hours, finally in the double digits
Shot distribution of my Portsmouth round. No, I don't know why it's called a Portsmouth, but there are others named after British towns. The solitary 5 was on the last end, but fortunately didn't scupper the PB.
#Project500 has been completed - my Portsmouth round today was 502/600, so I am really rather pleased.
To celebrate, I am going to buy a new bow tomorrow - and as one of the club coaches said, watch my scores plummet!

i tried working with this paper the best i can but i guess it just doesn't fit the style of brushing that i do, it floats above the paper for way too long that it runs off all around for me
that aside, i did experiment with funny color palettes i guess
My scorecard. 6 ends of 50 or morr, including 4 consecutive, and I still can't get to 500.
Shot distribution. 3 in the black FFS, and only 5 in the blue.
Arrows scoring 8 8 9 10 10 and X, for a score of 55. There's not a lot of room in the 10 ring, so 3 so close together is pretty satisfying.
Frustratingly, #Project500 continues - in the main, I probably shot as well as I ever have, but 3 in the black meant I "only" scored 490.

finally getting back to #project500 and watercolor again at the same time, trying new paper and stuff

revisiting the linework practice but with significantly more intensity and deliberation, while this might look worse i feel like i have more control over my own body
also officially 1% into the project
#project500 3 / 500 hours
now it's about color blending and hues and stuff
second page for #project500

2 / 500 hours
