Oh yeah, I participated in a drawing session on Magma a while ago and here's what I drew for the shared canvas!

Hex originally was shrugging because I couldn't get pressure sensitivity to work, but then someone suggested a fix that worked and I changed his pose to this!

My first post on Hex & Seal / #ProjectHex was me designing him on December 26th.

First page was posted on December 28th. Quick!
But my birthday is the 27th.. Almost shared.

It's wild he could have had Long hair and red or blue eyes!

Rough digital sketches of a character first looking quite content, then being tense and startled. And finally the two sketches layered over on top of each other which gives this feeling of him smiling and shivering like he's about to tear someone limb from limb.

Working on a page with two very similar poses.
Of course I'll sketch them on top of each other.

But I wasn't prepared for how _scary_ Hex looks when both layers are visible...

A screenshot from Blender. I'm working on 3D models for my comic character's farm. Thus far I have his farmhouse, which is missing some details still, and his chicken coop that also has an outdoor enclosure.

More 3D shenanigans for Hex & Seal. Because 3D is more fun than drawing for me. 😂 How fortunate that 3D also makes the drawing part less horrible!

Now I have the exterior for Hex's chicken coop!

A promo collage for my webcomic, Hex & Seal. The comic started as a left-handed art challenge but since my right arm is slowly getting better, guess I'll continue right-handed. The main character is Hex, a modern day wizard with brown skin, chin-length red hair and a white leather coat. The panels showcased feature Hex sitting on the floor of an unlit chicken coop, thinking about his embarrassing life decisions, then Hex reflected in the window of his grandfather's old house, and thirdly him looking over to the pasture where his one cow, Amoolet, looks back at him. We also have an aerial shot of the farm along with the somewhat ominous notion: Even without a Whisperer everyone knew to stay away from the farm. And finally we have Hex petting the cheeks of a cute white sheep which seems to smile just as widely as he is.
