Upon her return to Korea in 1993, #ImSoonRye worked as an assistant director on #YeoKyunDong' s #OutToTheWorld. The next year, she directed her first short film #PromenadeInTheRain, which won the Grand Prize and the Press Award at the 1st Seoul International Short Film Festival.
