Diff from my prev. pinned tweet: re-removed the bit about having #PromoteMode on since it's no longer applicable (I turned it off); mostly reverted to the version I had before that (with a few minor differences). Compare: https://x.com/cooljeanius/status/1066020811985829888
So, even though I've stopped paying for #PromoteMode, it looks like Twitter is continuing to promote my tweets anyways? I guess it is still in beta, after all, so I guess some glitches are to be expected...
ok I thought my #PromoteMode subscription ended; why is this still showing up on the "Promoted" tab of my analytics page
Reminder that my #PromoteMode subscription ends in a few days; if you've been avoiding following me based on the reasoning that you'll just be able to see my tweets when they're promoted anyways, well, that excuse will stop working on the 4th.
I just cancelled my #PromoteMode subscription; I need the money for other stuff. It'll remain active thru Feb. 4th tho, so you people aren't quite free of me yet! Speaking of needing money for other stuff, btw, you can always send some to me via Paypal: http://paypal.me/egallager
#WaysToLookDesperate Have #PromoteMode on... like I do... oops.
#PollResults: Instagram wins; unfortunately this poll didn't get picked up by Twitter's #PromoteMode so I only got a lousy sample size for it...

#NewPinnedTweet
- Follow my gf @CJluvsMJ27 & bot @cooljeaniusbot
- Be considerate before using emojis in tweets or display names; I'm stuck w/old devices & can't see them.
- I'm stuck at the #FollowLimit & probably can't follow you back; sorry. This is why I have #PromoteMode on.
Yes, I realize I already retweeted when @AroundTownwdp posted this, but by posting this myself, Twitter's #PromoteMode will pick it up: https://youtu.be/kE_i1lmRtF8
(It's a video of my interview with @richardwaynepa2 from before Tuesday's primary that I lost)

To clarify: While yes, I am currently paying for #PromoteMode, I don't count that as a campaign expenditure, as this is my personal account, & Promote Mode autopromotes everything even if it's not campaign-related. I'd be doing this anyways even if I weren't running for office.
So I'm trying out Twitter's #PromoteMode and it's kinda sad to see higher promoted engagement rates than organic ones on my analytics page; you'd think that people would know that the first rule of internet ads is to never, ever click on them…
