Yesterday I visited A&E (I’m fine), and received blood tests, an ECG and 2 consultations with a dr. I was there 3.5 hrs.

In the UK, thanks to our wonderful NHS, it was free. In the US this would have cost c. £3.5k - £6k without insurance (ChatGPT).

I’m in the UK recovering from a lumpectomy, in America it can cost between $10k & $20k, not including radiotherapy which I will be having, which can add a further $7,000 to $15k! (does depend on insurance/location etc.) 😱
