The subtle unofficial banning of books/authors exists too. School librarians and teachers did a good job of keeping Enid Blyton away from NZ kids. If the lens gets moved on what's good and what's "degenerate" banning can happen again. I also saw Wild Dogs Under My Skirt at a kura.
