How can bicyclists and pedestrians stay safe??
It’s Simple.
Cost-effective.
Accessible.

Bevel on the curb is supposed to let drivers get *out* of the bike lane, and the square profile to prevent cars from getting into it should have been installed on the outside of the buffer stripe. It's 100% backwards and only serves to fence people into the bike lane without offering much protection from errant cars at all.

Most of the ride was on #greenways, #ProtectedBikeLanes, or neighborhood streets. In the few places we did have to interact with car #traffic, drivers seemed extra cautious and patient, with a new respect for stop bars and bike boxes. (2)
