Our environmental educators took a quick break from teaching this week to #prune this #streettree that had a limb obstructing a traffic light. #Pruningtrees not only strengthens them but also serves as a way to help make NYC's streets and sidewalks safer for all New Yorkers!

Trees New York partnered with @@uprose.bsky.social and hosted a #CitizenPruner course in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We had a great time together #pruningtrees and are so glad they are committed to stewarding our #urbanforest. GREAT JOB!
