Singing strengthens your vocal cords while enunciating the lyrics helps with articulation. By the way, rapping is great for articulation—the more of a hip hop style, the better.
Don’t worry, this isn’t for a talent show, so your warm-up doesn’t have to be perfect.

Sing a song before your talk, presentation, or meeting. I take my public speaking clients through a series of warm-ups, but another great way to warm up is to sing one of your favorite songs!
