I know there have been no long-term studies on #WildFireSmoke exposure on residents exposed regularly due to #ClimateChange fueled fires but should be models based on particulates, gasses, what compounds are burning, impact of inhaling those. What say you

It’s challenging for BE pts without access to #pulmonologists who support #airwayclearance to advocate for themselves, especially without US guidelines.

It would be amazing if the guidelines were unveiled next week at the N American #Bronchiectasis & #NTM Conference.

Wishful thinking?

The US still lacks non-CF #bronchiectasis guidelines making it challenging for patients to advocate for optimal care. Without these guidelines, many #pulmonologists do not recommend #airwayclearance. This means patients can’t get a #nebulizer & #Aerobika that require prescriptions. #GuidelinesPlease
