The main fundamental issue with Copmala wooing the Cheneys is not that she is to the Right of them. Conservative Democrats still are slightly to the left of Reaganites.
However, it's a clear sign that the donors and party apparatchiks want to push the Democrats hard to the Right and #PurgeTheLeft.
