Some of my favorite puzzles are built from classics: word searches, crosswords, mazes. When people already know the format, I can get creative with the twist. (Sudoku still eludes me!)

Here’s a twist: when I make a logic puzzle, I don’t start with the solution. I build the clues first, then make sure they connect into a path with only one answer. It’s like reverse-engineering a mystery.
