Qantas Completes Return of Final A380 Superjumbo to Sydney
AviationNews – Qantas has successfully completed the return flight of its tenth and final Airbus A380 to Sydney, marking the end of the superjumbo fleet’s post-pandemic reactivation following nearly six years in deep storage. This milestone signifies the airline’s full restoration of its flagship long-haul capacity, meeting the surging demand for international travel. The massive aircraft, registered as VH-OQF, had been stored at the massive aircraft maintenance facility in the remote Mojave Desert since the onset of the travel downturn in early 2020, following initial storage beginning in 2019.
