La gente que sí me tiene cierto aprecio y sabe como soy no suele quejarse mucho. Pero, y repito, es gracias a la facilidad que da Quicksy.
Al menos es para lo único que uso yo la llamada con un contacto (real) que tengo en #Conversations; ella usa #Quicksy. Creo que estoy tensando mucho la cuerda, je je.
Yo ya he liado a una persona de mi entorno gracias a #Quicksy; y por supuesto al amigo @daniel.

A los que ya estamos concienciados y usamos #XMPP y tengo un JID y no queremos abrir cuenta / usar #Quicksy recomiendo apuntarse a su base de datos para que nuestros contactos nos añadan automáticamente; como hace Whatsapp.

A los que promocionan @signalapp como el mal menor frente a #Whatsapp: es saltar de la sartén al fuego.
Promocionad #Quicksy (en #Android) o @Monal (en #iOS). Literalmente lo puedes instalar y empezar a usar aunque tengas un hachazo en la puta cabeza.

Spoiler: no ha pasado nunca. Llevo dos años y pico (creo) con mi JID en la base de datos de #Quicksy y ni Dios me ha hablado por #XMPP.
Va sonar muy patético: hoy soñé que alguien que tenia mi número de teléfono me contactó por #Quicksy. Vio mi mensaje de estado en #Whatsapp y me hizo caso. 😅

Mi servidor (jabjab.de) sigue con la resolución de mierda de hace veintipico años... van a probar el servidor de #Quicksy. Que siendo gestionado por @daniel seguramente sí tenga para subir avatares en alta resolución.

- use #Gajim for windows (0 €)
To communicate with anyone else outside the organisation:
- ask them to remain and use #Quicksy (0 €)
For secure end-to-end communication with no backdoor, use #OMEMO encryption.
Use private #xmpp #omemo server for your organisation's ecumenical com and communicate with people using #quicksy
Since you came here you may also be interested to leave Meta/whatsapp which is a close environment.
Few are aware that whatsapp is based on a natively interoperable standard: #xmpp. To try easily have look at #quicksy www.quicksy.im. open source free interoperable.

To be really in control, we have to use #federated services (#Email, mobile networks, #mastodon are all federated) so no single entity can force us to agree to terms we don't like.
