Hello BlueSky. Trying this again without the typos. My entry for #BlueSkyArtShow on the theme of #Small. This tiny #Mushroom peeping out from the craggy bark of a Douglas Fir was smaller than a thumbtack.

Several hikers marvel upwards at the world's largest Spruce tree; which has a circumference of 58'11", height of 191', and is approximately 1,000 years old.
A massive evergreen stands out among a grove of other tall but skinny trees. This may be one of the 'Quinault Valley Champion Six' trees, but I am uncertain.
The lush Quinault rainforest with moss covering everything it can. The trail runs just out of frame tot the right along the visible handrail.
A younger tree has grown from the base of this large tree stump, with roots dangling on all sides of the stump.

The Quinault Rainforest teaches stillness.
It asks nothing—except to be protected.
If we want future generations to walk beneath these trees, we have to fight for them now.

Wandered into a world draped in green. 🌿
It’s the sort of place that reminds you to slow down, listen closer, and be gentle with the world around you.
