I was keen to have #quotePosting in Mastodon. But, surprisingly to me, since it came in a month or so ago (to my instance), I've not done a single-quote post. I've wanted to QP three or four times, but each time the post in question has been one that disallowed QPs. Oh well.
I did some digging through the docs, but I could not find a clear answer to my question:
My instance is running GTS 0.19, can my toots be quoted by users of new versions of Mastodon? I don't mind that, just curious.

So #QuotePosting on Masto is like what, nine years late? But you have to appreciate the level of care that's gone into the feature. I love the sheer amount of control available to an OP here. 😘

Also, this is misleading.
In this case, the post was not removed by its author. It's just a Bluesky account that restricts its visibility outside the BSky network, which means it can't be bridged.
So, yeah, it's a good start, but it needs tweaking.
