I don't understand RGB modding gen 1 & 2 consoles.

The artwork in those games used tricks, including dither. The pixel art looked better using composite out.

When you RGB mod, none of those tricks work and you aren't viewing the game as the designers intended.

#laseractive #rgbmod adventure so far. Disassembled it while watching Tokyo Vice ep2. Mounted the shell and broke it. But gravity is helping out, it still works. Oh, also filled an SSD with all #ps2 shmups to use with @jeffchen.bsky.social's EasyPS2HDD mod.

There. Now we have a Nintendo 64 with RGB-mod and a new shell.

Now we can start playing some N64 games on steram.
