A speaker at #RIPE88 thought that our amazing steno person was AI captioning. ML systems wish they were as good as the team who caption our meetings. And the whole room let them know that!

#RIPE88 has begun, with a bunch of useful conversations already, and some informative and interesting talks. The hotel is past the goblin market and slightly through the enchanted forest, but that's more exciting than other venues!

0710 flight to Krakow tomorrow for #RIPE88. I really, really hate 0400 alarm calls, but all of the alternatives are worse. But hopefully, if I can arrange it, it'll be the last really early flight this year.
