Saying goodbye to a Providence institution or, where the Old Canteen used to be Rhode Islander finding what's great about the Ocean State in art, dining, sightseeing, music and more.

Within a week after moving to Providence, we went to the Old Canteen for dinner.
News of change of ownership was expected. News of it being replaced by Wally's Weiners was not.
