🏆We're happy to announce that the winner of the @naturemethods.bsky.social Poster Prize at #RNGS25 is Alexandra Pancíková of @vib-ccb.bsky.social!
She presented her work on bridging genotype and phenotype through single-cell multi-omics.
Congratulations! 🎉🎉
Very exciting results shared by Fritz Sedlazeck @sedlazeck.bsky.social including my favourite mosaic variants. While Sniffles2 is well known, other tools from his lab can detect mosaic SVs (Sniffles2 Mosaic) and also assign them to cell types using methylation changes (Sniffmeth).
So cool! #RNGS25
Olga Pettersson from Uppsala gave a thought-provoking talk, tracing the genomic revolution and its paradigm shift.
She emphasized the need for good non-model reference genomes and also highlighted the crucial role of core facilities in genome sequencing —two very strong messages!
