facebook.com/RTNBelfast Instagram @reclaimthenightbelfast #RTNBelfast #16DaysNI Reclaim the Night Belfast is part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence. All genders are welcome to attend, however we ask that the front of the rally is led by women and LGBT+ people. Reclaim the Night Belfast is a trans affirming and trans inclusive space. Reclaim the Night Belfast is also sex worker inclusive, and supports full decriminalisation. No Party Political materials. Gather from 5pm for speeches at 5:30pm.
facebook.com/RTNBelfast Instagram @reclaimthenightbelfast #RTNBelfast #16DaysNI Route Information We will set off from Writers Square, march up Royal Avenue towards City Hall, onto Chichester Street towards the Courts, then along Victoria Street past the PSNI station finishing at the Albert Clock. The route is just over a mile long. If you do not feel up to marching the whole route, you are welcome to join us for the speakers in Writers Square or to leave the march at anytime. Please exit the march onto the footpath for your safety. Gather from 5pm for speeches at 5:30pm.
facebook.com/RTNBelfast Instagram @reclaimthenightbelfast #RTNBelfast #16DaysNI We will be walking along the road, this is mostly flat however it is uneven in places. It should be suitable for those using wheelchairs and prams. There are dropped kerbs around the start and end points of the march. There will be drumming and chanting along the route which may be loud. The samba band will be near the front of the march, and will probably be the loudest section.
Reclaim the Night Belfast is tonight!
Check out our speakers, route, accessibility info and a bit of background below! See you at Writers Square from 5pm. Wrap up warm and bring your chanting voice.
