Vandaag wordt mijn gedicht 'Rupelkinderen' nog eens van stal gehaald. Aan de Rupel nog wel. Bij de opening van een nieuw, verbindend kunstwerk op de kaai wordt het voorgedragen door kinderen van de kindergemeenteraad in Boom. De cirkel is rond.
