Babies next to poppa, all munching down on some fresh grass #meatrabbits #rabbittractor
Two nearly identical wood-framed rabbit tractors viewed from the side, sitting one beside the other on rough grass, each approximately eight feet long, three feet wide, and three feet tall. Each structure has a plywood-enclosed “den” two feet long/deep on the left. The remaining six-foot “yard” is enclosed with metal wire fencing material. The roofs have three sections: a slanted metal roof over the den, a flat plywood roof over about a third of the yard, and a flat wire hardware cloth over the remaining two-thirds of the yard. Each has two wheels, about six inches in diameter, at the den end. Here, one wheel is visible on the left end, partially hidden by grass. A water bowl is at the den end of the yard of the closer tractor. Watermark: ©2025 Marcella of Marcella Creates
The two rabbit tractors shown from their den ends. At the bottom of each den’s back wall are two wood blocks where the two wheels are attached, placing the axle slightly behind the rectangle of the tractor and to the outside of each tractor width. Watermark: ©2025 Marcella of Marcella Creates
The two rabbit tractors shown from the yards ends. Inside the yards are some sticks, with most of their leaves munched off. Inside the one on the left is a water bowl and behind that, a white rabbit barely visible in its den. Watermark: ©2025 Marcella of Marcella Creates
Rabbit tractors!
Moveable bunny hutches.
Only took us six weeks to complete.
But perhaps as important: I drilled my first pilot holes and did NOT break the drill bit!!!
