Bright yellow eyes turned to Alastor. He tightened his grip on his gun. “About all of us.” Niffty waved her own gun around, still so happy to be here. “It’s a family meeting!” The static died out immediately. Mischievous shadows retreated, letting in the bright red from both the sky and the dozens of neon lights surrounding them—as well as the fire from the nearby explosion. Alastor shuddered, hunching away as much as he could. "Just shoot me.” Or, a story of how each member of the Radio Trio deal with their own complicated feelings about their friendship with each other—except Alastor who'd rather lock up his feelings and throw away the key. And yes, they will get guns.
“Ugh, did I just read him wrong? The hell was that all about…?” The shaking had finally stopped, leaving him exhausted and hollow. “Good talk, my ass.” “The boss got really mad at you, huh?” At another time, Husk might have jumped in shock, especially with how close Niffty was. She leaned her head over his left shoulder, her height finally matching his, a big sharp-toothed smile on her face. But with Alastor’s little scarefest from before, he only had enough energy to mildly flinch. “Niff, how long you’ve been hiding around here?” He eyed the walls, trying to find a vent he must have missed. Sometimes the little bug maid would disappear for half the day crawling through them. “Not long!” Niffty skittered around to face him, holding onto a small feather duster. It was dusty—as was the rest of her. The vent theory was looking to be true. “Just when you asked Alastor for a talk.” “...So, you’ve been listening the whole time.” “Yeah! But it wasn’t very long.”

She waits like an eager puppy, prepares everything just in case their boss breaks down the door and demands a hug immediately. Husk glances down. He sees his own hands polish a shot glass, and frowns.
